Injection Moulding

Scottlamp are equipped with very modern microprocessor controlled machines from 35 tonne lock up to 700 tonne lock, which allows us to mould components up to 3,750 grams in weight and approximately 4,000 square cm surface area.

We have hands on experience in processing both commercial and engineering materials in transparent, opaque, filled or reinforced grades. As a result we can show you samples of a great variety of mouldings to illustrate material strength, rigidity and surface finish, etc., so that you can weigh up all these factors relative to your own product idea. Tool Design, Tool Construction, Tool Refurbishment & Tool Modification

The ultimate quality of any injection moulding is very much dependent not only on the design of the component, but also on the design, accuracy and construction of the mould tool.

At Scottlamp, we have a fully equipped in house tooling facility using CAD to design and construct injection mould tools. Being in house means that your project can remain confidential and that your costs remain low. As designer and product manufacturer we can ensure smooth development of your new item and ensure that your deadlines are met.

Our engineers take into consideration all the processing requirements of the material specified to produce tooling of the very highest standards. We also undertake refurbishment and adaptation of injection mould tooling. If you are receiving poor quality mouldings, or scrapping components, we may well be able to assist.

Production, Assembley and Third Operation

Scottlamp manufacturing services provide you with the option of your products to be built, packed and even printed to your specification. With sonic welding, maching finishing, pad printing and hot foiling, Scottlamp provide a range of services helping ease of logistics.
